Israeli strikes kill two as Gaza ceasefire violations continue

GAZA: Violence continued to overshadow the fragile ceasefire in Gaza on Sunday as fresh Israeli military actions reportedly killed two Palestinians and injured several others, while separate incidents in the occupied West Bank further heightened tensions across the Palestinian territories.

According to Arab media reports, an Israeli drone strike targeted a vehicle near the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. The attack was followed by another incident in Khan Younis, where Israeli forces reportedly opened fire, leaving two Palestinians dead and several others wounded.

The latest casualties have fueled renewed concerns over the durability of the ceasefire, with local residents describing continued insecurity despite ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at preventing a wider escalation. Medical teams and emergency responders rushed to the affected areas to evacuate the wounded as rescue operations continued.
