BTS member Jimin has once again won over fans after playfully recreating Norwegian football star Erling Haaland’s viral “cyborg walk” during the group’s second concert at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.
The light-hearted moment took place on July 12, when the South Korean singer surprised the audience by copying Haaland’s distinctive walk on stage. The playful imitation quickly spread across social media, with fans praising Jimin’s sense of humour and stage presence.
The joke began a day earlier during the concert’s pre-show soundcheck. J-Hope spotted a fan-made banner in the front row and encouraged Jimin to take a closer look. The banner compared Jimin’s recently revealed blonde hairstyle with both Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Marvel’s Thor, portrayed by actor Chris Hemsworth.
The sign read: “Thor: God of Thunder, Erling Haaland: God of Football, Park Jimin: Our God.”
After noticing the banner, Jimin walked to the edge of the stage, accepted it from the fan, pointed at the pictures and burst into laughter. He spent a few moments admiring the creative poster before taking a photo of it, clearly enjoying the fan’s humorous comparison.
During the following night’s concert, Jimin decided to turn the joke into a memorable on-stage moment by recreating Haaland’s famous walk. The audience responded with loud cheers, while videos of the performance rapidly gained attention across social media platforms.
Fans from around the world praised the singer for embracing the joke with confidence and good humour. Many described the moment as one of the concert’s highlights, with several saying they repeatedly watched the viral clips because of Jimin’s entertaining personality.
One fan commented that seeing Jimin imitate Haaland was especially amusing, while another said the singer’s natural humour made the performance even more enjoyable. Others joked that Jimin had successfully brought together the worlds of football and K-pop with a single walk.
