JIT is being pressurized to distance themselves from findings, Khan claims

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has claimed that JIT is being pressurized to distance themselves from the findings of the 3rd November Wazirabad attack.

Khan said, “JIT members being pressurized to distance themselves from the findings of JIT investigating assassination plot against me.”

He further added, “This further confirms my conviction that powerful quarters were behind the assassination attempt on me.”

As per media reports, Other than the gun attack carried out by the suspect Naveed Meher, who was apprehended at the scene, bullets were fired by three unknown shooters, using unknown weapons from a considerable height.

Moreover, The JIT Punjab government established to investigate the incident also found that the attack was carried out from three different shooting locations.

In Khan’s most recent address he claimed that two to three people were behind the assassination attempt adding, “But the person who planned this, I want them to cooperate with the JIT. Action should be taken against those deliberately obstructing justice.”

The former premier also demanded that a strong body supported by Pakistan’s chief justice investigate the matter.
