Maulana Fazur Rehman, the chief of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) met the former National Assembly speaker and GDA leader Dr Fehmida Mirza at her home in Karachi to discuss the country’s political scenario.
During the meeting with Dr Fehmida and her spouse Dr Zulfikar Ali Mirza, the JUI-F chief discussed the current political situation and their future line of action in the wake of the post-election scenario in the country.
The GDA leaders informed the chief of JUI-F about the alleged rigging in the recently held general polls and assured him of their full support in the future strategy to register their protest for the stolen mandate.
According to the press statement issued on social media, the leadership of JUI-F said that its leaders Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri and Maulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro, Asad Ghouri, Qari Mohammad Usman and Syed Hammadullah were present during the meeting while Barrister Hasnain Mirza was also there during the meeting.
