According to the PMD, Karachi’s maximum temperature is expected to range between 33°C and 35°C, while the minimum temperature recorded early Sunday morning stood at 28.5°C. The city recorded a maximum temperature of 34°C on Saturday, reflecting the continuation of typical summer weather conditions along the coastal belt.

Weather experts say the combination of moisture from the Arabian Sea and moderate sea breezes is likely to keep humidity levels elevated throughout the day. As a result, residents may continue to experience temperatures that feel higher than the actual reading, particularly during the afternoon hours.

The department has also predicted light drizzle or isolated rain showers in some parts of the city during the late night and early morning. Although no widespread rainfall is expected, brief periods of drizzle could provide some respite from the warm conditions and improve air quality in certain areas.

Strong southwesterly winds are expected to continue blowing across Karachi, especially in coastal neighborhoods. These winds are likely to help moderate daytime temperatures but may also create dusty conditions in some open areas. Motorists are advised to exercise caution if visibility is affected during periods of drizzle, particularly during the early morning commute.

Health experts recommend that residents remain hydrated, avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during peak afternoon hours, and wear light clothing to reduce the risk of heat-related illnesses. Children, senior citizens, and people with underlying medical conditions are particularly encouraged to take extra precautions during hot and humid weather.

The PMD continues to monitor weather conditions across Sindh and has advised the public to stay updated through official forecasts, as local weather patterns may change due to shifting wind directions and moisture levels over the Arabian Sea.
