Karachi feeds Pakistan. Karachi pays taxes. Karachi deserves safety, dignity, and basic rights.

After 18 years of continuous PPP rule in Sindh since 2008, the people of Sindh demand immediate action, not statements.

OUR 5 DEMANDS

1. EMERGENCY LAW & ORDER ACT FOR KARACHI

What: Ban all heavy traffic – dumpers, tankers, trailers – in residential + commercial areas from 7AM to 11PM. Mandatory GPS + Speed Governors + Fitness Certificates.
Why: 217 people killed by dumpers in 8 months. Korangi Market No. 6 and Furniture Market are “red zones”.
Who: Sindh Home Dept + Traffic Police to implement in 30 days. Monthly public dashboard on violations.

2. INDEPENDENT JUDICIAL COMMISSION + PUBLIC AUDIT 2008-2026

What: SHC-supervised commission to audit all development funds for Karachi roads, health, education, water.
Why: AGP reports 2018-2025 flagged “billions in incomplete projects”. Citizens allege kickbacks, commissions, siphoning.
Why Now: Mir Raza case Judicial Commission exposed evidence tampering and police failures. Same pattern cannot continue.
Demand: Publish findings within 90 days. Recover looted money.

3. POLICE REFORMS & ACCOUNTABILITY

What: Merit-based postings of SHOs. Body cams for all investigation officers. Fast-track courts for street crime.
Why: 143 killed in street crime in 2026. Liaquatabad, Nazimabad, Gulshan are hotspots. CPLC recovery rate <18%.
Demand: Protection for witnesses like ride-hailing driver Ahsanullah. End political interference in police transfers.

4. KARACHI INFRASTRUCTURE EMERGENCY

What:
– Water: Complete K-IV project. 1200 MGD for Karachi within 12 months.
– Health: Fully fund JPMC, Civil, Abbasi with medicines + staff. No more “emergency grants”.
– Education: Audit all “ghost schools”. Build 500 new public schools in 2 years.
– Roads: One-time repair of all industrial area roads with third-party monitoring.
Why: Karachi generates 50%+ of Pakistan’s taxes but gets broken roads, no water, and collapsing hospitals.

5. ZERO TOLERANCE FOR “MAFIA SYSTEM”

What: Crackdown on Dumper Mafia, Land Mafia, Contractor Mafia. Seize illegal assets. Blacklist contractors with incomplete projects.
Why: Citizens say the “modus operandi” has only changed names for decades – corruption, kickbacks, siphoning billions.
Demand: NAB + FIA + Sindh Anti-Corruption to submit quarterly progress reports to public.
