Trudeau, 54, posted a montage on Instagram on Friday, capturing key moments from the past few weeks. Among the images was a warm photo of him and Perry, 41, smiling together over drinks.

The post also featured a photo from his meetup with Michelle and Barack Obama, along with a picture from his daughter Ella-Grace’s graduation. A family holiday snapshot rounded out the collection.

In his caption, Trudeau expressed gratitude for the memorable moments and the people who made the summer feel special to him.

The post came shortly after the couple was spotted arriving at a private airport in Olbia, Italy, adding yet another stop to their ongoing travels together.

Trudeau and Perry have now been together for more than a year. Dating rumours first surfaced after they were seen dining together in Montreal last July.

After roughly six months of speculation, the pair confirmed their relationship publicly on Instagram in December. Since then, they’ve made several joint public appearances.

Earlier this summer, the couple made their red carpet debut together at the 25th Annual Tribeca Festival. They also attended the premiere of Perry’s concert film, “Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris.”

Speaking about the relationship at that event, Perry told PEOPLE she feels far more grounded across many areas of her life these days. She described herself as being very much in love.

She added that the concert film’s premiere took place after she’d already met the person she now calls the love of her life. According to Perry, that connection left her feeling far more anchored, especially given how easily she can otherwise feel scattered.

Perry was previously in a long-term relationship with actor Orlando Bloom for nine years. The former couple, who share five-year-old daughter Daisy, ended their relationship in the middle of last year.
