A man was killed while six others sustained critical injuries in an armed clash that broke out in the riverine area of district Sujawal on Saturday.
According to sources, the gun-battle between Bijora and Malah tribe after their children indulged into a fight over the issue of plucking vegetables from farm land, the minor dispute ended up in a bloody confrontation.
The area police cordoned off immediately after the incident but failed to diffuse the tension that had gripped the locality following the barbaric incident.
Police told local reporters that a man identified as Abdullah Malah died on the spot after receiving a bullet at his chest while the condition of four out of six injured was stated to be critical and doctors were struggling to save their lives. No FIR of the incident was registered till the filing of this report.
