Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited Tyran Wisdom Dairy Company, a leading dairy enterprise in China’s Xinjiang region, during her four-day official visit to the country.

The chief minister toured different sections of the company’s dairy processing facility, where Chinese officials briefed her in detail about the milk processing system and various stages of production.

Maryam Nawaz also observed the company’s digital milk processing system. Officials informed her that Tyran Wisdom Dairy is known for its modern dairy farming practices across different regions of China.

During the briefing, she was told that livestock at the company’s dairy farms is raised under proper animal health and hygiene standards.

Speaking on the occasion, Maryam Nawaz said Punjab’s initiatives for the development and promotion of the livestock sector were producing positive results. She said special projects for livestock breeding were being successfully implemented in the province.

The chief minister said livestock was also being raised and fattened through modern methods to increase meat production.

Maryam Nawaz expressed her desire to establish modern milk and dairy processing facilities in Punjab with China’s cooperation. She said collaboration with Chinese companies could help introduce advanced technology and modern practices in Punjab’s livestock and dairy sectors.
