Mohsin Naqvi eliminates NADRA death certificate charge

During his visit to NADRA headquarters, the minister inspected all departments and instructed authorities to establish NADRA offices nationwide in a similar fashion to Punjab’s model police stations.

In the meeting, the minister announced the waiver of fees for death certificates for the public’s convenience and stated the need to safeguard citizens’ data.

The minister commended Chairman Lt. Gen. Muhammad Munir Afsar for his outstanding performance.

As part of a plantation campaign, the minister planted trees on the National Database Registration Authority headquarters lawn.

During a briefing, Chairman Afsar outlined NADRA’s Roadmap 2024-25, which includes plans for enhanced security measures, cyber security audits, and employee cyber security training as part of the National Database Registration Authority Strategic Plan.

The chairman briefed the minister on the upgrades to NADRA’s technology, infrastructure, and online registration platforms, which will improve access to services for Pakistanis abroad and local citizens.
