The spokesperson of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s recent speech made it clear that MQM is “on his nerves and constantly on his mind.”

In a statement, the MQM spokesperson reacted strongly to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership, saying that the inauguration of a single road in a “collapsed and mismanaged Sindh” is itself an admission of the PPP’s political failure.

The spokesperson further accused the PPP of attempting to take credit for development projects that were actually completed through public-private partnership arrangements. He described these claims as a “failed attempt” by the ruling party to politically benefit from initiatives it did not independently execute.

Criticizing governance in Karachi, the MQM spokesperson added that University Road has remained in a severely damaged and neglected condition for nearly half a decade, reflecting what he called the ongoing administrative failure and lack of attention from the provincial government.

The statement highlights continuing political tensions between MQM and PPP, with both parties frequently exchanging criticism over development projects and governance issues in Sindh, particularly in Karachi.
