Mufti Mahmood Hospital adds 3 new dialysis machines

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Three more modern NIKKISO DBB EXA Series Hemodialysis Machines have been installed at Mufti Mahmood Memorial Teaching Hospital, Dera Ismail Khan, through the special efforts of former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur and MNA Sardar Faisal Amin Khan Gandapur, bringing the total number of dialysis machines at the hospital from six to nine.

The increase in the number of dialysis machines will enable the hospital to provide dialysis services to more patients suffering from kidney diseases, while existing patients are also expected to benefit from improved treatment facilities and more timely medical services.

The installation of the modern machines has been described as an important development towards improving healthcare facilities for kidney patients in the region. According to sources, the newly installed NIKKISO DBB EXA Series machines are equipped with modern hemodialysis technology and will be used to provide dialysis treatment to patients.

With the increase in the number of machines, the capacity of the hospital’s dialysis service will also be enhanced, allowing a greater number of patients to benefit from the facility.

Local residents have welcomed the expansion of dialysis services at Mufti Mahmood Memorial Teaching Hospital, saying that dialysis is a continuous and essential treatment for kidney patients. They said that the availability of additional machines at the local level would help reduce the difficulties faced by patients and their families who otherwise have to travel to other cities for treatment.

The increase in dialysis machines at the hospital through the special efforts of former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur and MNA Sardar Faisal Amin Khan Gandapur has been described as a significant step towards providing the people of Dera Ismail Khan with modern, improved and quality healthcare facilities.
