Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman affirms alignment of three-month budget with CM Maryam Nawaz’s vision

Punjab’s Finance Minister, Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, remarked on Thursday that the province’s three-month budget reflects Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision.

Stating his perspective, Rehman emphasized, “Only the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) can ensure access to free medicine, cancer treatment, and housing. It is the experienced government that can initiate 28 public projects for the welfare of the people within the available resources.”

Recently, Rehman pledged to enhance Punjab’s condition, expressing his commitment: “We have commenced work on 28 projects and will persist in bringing about improvements.”

He criticized opponents, asserting, “An incompetent and corrupt individual was thrust upon the country in 2018.”

Rehman affirmed, “The developmental journey in Punjab, which was halted, has resumed.”

He extended gratitude to all lawmakers for their participation in the budget discussions.

Rehman also pledged to bolster the transport sector for the public’s benefit.

During a press briefing in Lahore, he assured that interest-free loans would be extended to farmers, underscoring the paramount importance of uplifting the agricultural sector. “Elevating the agricultural sector remains our utmost priority,” he emphasized.

“The Punjab Assembly has presented the budget for the entire year. Punjab will outstrip all other provinces in terms of development.”

The minister vowed to tirelessly serve the people of Punjab.
