The military’s media wing reported that security forces successfully prevented a terrorist attack in Balochistan’s Harnai district on Saturday. As per the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the incident led to the elimination of one terrorist and injuries to another.
According to ISPR, the terrorists attempted to stop passenger vehicles traveling on Sanjavi Road in Harnai. Prompt action by security forces swiftly engaged the attackers, resulting in the elimination of one terrorist and injuring another during the exchange of fire.
The ISPR statement highlighted the timely response of security forces, which thwarted the terrorists’ malicious intentions, ultimately safeguarding innocent lives.
In the aftermath of the encounter, a thorough sanitization operation has been initiated in the area to eliminate any remaining terrorist presence.
