Murtaza Solangi dismisses Parvez Elahi’s claims of IMF and EU visits to Imran Khan in Jail

The Federal Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has categorically denied the claims of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President Parvez Elahi that representatives from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Union (EU) regularly visit PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Adiala Jail.

Solangi labeled the claims as a “figment of imagination” and urged the media to verify such statements with the concerned authorities before publishing.

The caretaker minister dismissed Elahi’s allegations, stating, “There is not a single grain of truth in this fantasy, and it is truly nothing but a figment of imagination by the senior politico.”

Earlier while talking to the media in Lahore, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi had these claims, Elahi’s lawyer, Amir Saeed Rawn, confirmed the PTI president’s statement during the court appearance.

Elahi asserted that Imran Khan, the party chairman, is visited by representatives from the EU and the IMF while being held at Adiala Jail. He further mentioned that Imran is accommodated in a neighboring cell, emphasizing that the party chief is anticipated to secure an unprecedented number of votes in the upcoming polls.
