ISLAMABAD: The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), working under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, has announced 351 vacancies for candidates across Pakistan.
The recruitment drive covers seven positions, including Sub Inspector, Technical Assistant, Stenotypist, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Upper Division Clerk, Constable and Constable Driver.
According to the official advertisement, candidates can apply online through the National Police Foundation (NPF) Testing and Assessment Service portal at npftas.pk. The deadline for applications is September 7, 2026.
The agency has announced 48 posts for Sub Inspector (BS-14). Applicants must hold a four-year Bachelor’s or BS degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Digital Forensics, Telecom/Electrical Engineering or Data Science.
The recruitment also includes 15 Technical Assistant (BS-14) positions, for which candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree and three years of experience. Eight Stenotypist (BS-14) posts require Intermediate qualification, along with shorthand speed of 80 words per minute and typing speed of 40 words per minute.
For the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-09), the NCCIA has announced 36 vacancies and requires a Bachelor’s or Associate Degree. Six Upper Division Clerk (BS-11) posts are available for candidates with Intermediate qualification.
The largest share of vacancies comprises 174 Constable (BS-05) posts, requiring Matric with at least second division. Another 64 Constable Driver (BS-05) positions require Matric qualification along with an LTV or motorcycle driving licence.
The general age limit for all posts is 18 to 25 years, with no age relaxation. Candidates must pay an application fee of Rs2,000 for each post through 1Link-1Bill using banks, ATMs, EasyPaisa, JazzCash or UPaisa.
Candidates applying for Sub Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Constable and Constable Driver positions will have to undergo a physical test. The test includes a 1.6-kilometre run, which male candidates must complete in seven minutes and female candidates in 10 minutes.
The physical requirements include a minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches for men and 5 feet 4 inches for women. Male candidates must also meet the prescribed chest measurement of 33 by 34.5 inches.
Applicants must submit a separate application for each position. Government employees should apply through the proper channel and provide an NOC at the interview stage.
The NCCIA has warned candidates against submitting false information, stating that such actions may attract criminal proceedings under Sections 420, 468 and 471 of the Pakistan Penal Code, with punishment of up to seven years in prison.
Successful candidates may receive postings anywhere in Pakistan, while the agency will not provide TA/DA for tests or interviews.
