North West is once again making headlines for her bold fashion choices, this time debuting a new set of lip piercings at Paris Fashion Week.
The 13 year old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West attended the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris on Friday. A video of her at the event quickly caught fans’ attention after they noticed two new angel bite piercings on her top lip.
She also showed off other facial piercings she had debuted previously, including two studs placed on her cheek below her eye and one on the bridge of her nose.
For the outing, North wore her now familiar bold style, sporting an electric blue wig paired with a long sleeved black shirt, a mini skirt and tights. She completed the look with black combat boots and accessorised with a custom designed, diamond encrusted spike choker along with a matching hand band crafted specifically for her by Alex Moss NYC. It remains unclear whether the new piercings are real or simply faux studs.
This latest style moment follows North’s debut of several hand piercings back in February, a choice that drew criticism toward both her and her mother at the time. North has been openly unfazed by such backlash, having previously addressed her love for piercings and tattoos directly through music. In her song Piercing on My Hand, a collaboration with her father Kanye West, she raps candidly about her affection for body modification and personal style, with lyrics referencing her piercings, her love of more tattoos, and her preference for blue hair styled in plaits.
For North, the latest piercings appear to be less about courting controversy and more about an increasingly confident and consistent personal aesthetic, one she has shown little hesitation in expressing publicly, regardless of the reaction it generates.
