RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army achieved a remarkable international milestone after securing top honors at the International Pacesticking Competition 2026 held at the renowned Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.

Representing Pakistan, a team from the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) delivered an outstanding performance, claiming the overall championship title and earning several individual distinctions during the highly competitive event. The contingent swept the major awards, including the overall team trophy, as well as accolades for the best pace sticker and best driver.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the nine-member delegation, headed by Major Haider Gulzar, traveled to the United Kingdom on June 5 to participate in the annual contest. The competition featured 16 teams from military academies and armed forces around the world, making the victory a significant achievement for Pakistan.

The military’s media wing described the success as a reflection of the Pakistan Army’s rigorous training standards, professionalism, and commitment to excellence. The accomplishment further highlights the capabilities of the country’s military personnel on the international stage.

The latest victory follows another recent achievement by a Pakistani military cadet abroad. Earlier this year, Cadet Sardar Arsam Abbas was recognized as the “Overall Best Foreign Military Cadet” at Australia’s Royal Military College Duntroon. The prestigious award honored his exceptional performance across all aspects of military training and leadership development.

These back-to-back international successes underscore the growing recognition of Pakistan Army cadets and officers for their discipline, professionalism, and high standards of military excellence.
