Pakistan Army’s relief efforts amidst heavy rains in Swat, Chitral, and Khyber

Pakistan Army continues its relief operations following landslides triggered by heavy rains in various regions.

Landslides in Muta and Bahrain areas of Swat resulted in the closure of the road from Mankyal to Kalam. Responding promptly, Pakistan Army troops, in coordination with civil authorities, launched rescue operations to assist those affected.

The landslides left numerous tourists stranded, facing significant challenges. Pakistan Army swiftly provided essential supplies such as food and drinks to the stranded tourists while conducting rescue missions to ensure their safety. Grateful for the timely assistance, the tourists expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the Pakistan Army for their support during the challenging times.

In Chitral, where landslides also occurred, Pakistan Army initiated rescue operations to aid affected individuals. Additionally, a specialized medical camp was established to offer free medical examinations and medications to passengers in need. These efforts aimed to alleviate the suffering of those impacted by the adverse weather conditions.

Furthermore, in Shalman area of Khyber district, communication roads were disrupted due to landslides. Pakistan Army promptly restored these vital lifelines, working tirelessly on an emergency basis to ensure connectivity for the affected communities.
