Pakistan set to miss World Championship of Legends

Development follows India’s refusal to play Pakistan in previous edition

Pakistani cricketers will not be permitted to participate in the World Championship of Legends, according to sources.

Sources said no team will be allowed to use Pakistan’s name in the tournament either. During the previous edition, the Indian team had refused to play against Pakistan Champions.

The tournament is scheduled to begin in the UAE on October 3 and features a team called Pakistan Champions. The Pakistan side was also scheduled to face India Champions in Dubai on October 10.
