In Lahore, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) detained Sajid Hussain, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) staffer was arrested on the charges of human trafficking. The victim said Hussain accepted Rs1 million from him with promises of overseas employment.
Meanwhile, in Sheikhupura, another individual, Irshad Hussain, was apprehended by FIA for defrauding people seeking opportunities abroad.
Additionally, in an unrelated case, the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) took Sub-Inspector Manzoor Ahmed of Shahdara Town Lahore into custody for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs25,000 to conduct a fair investigation.
