Planted elements blaming chaos on PTI, says Senator Faisal Javed

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf senior leader and Senator Faisal Javed Khan on Wednesday stated that some planted elements are blaming chaos and unrest on PTI.

He tweeted, “VC Shah Mehmood Qureshi has given a call for peaceful demonstration only. Those who are creating chaos don’t belong to PTI.”

“Allegedly some planted elements are doing this to blame PTI. It is the right of citizens to hold peaceful protests and the Govt has an obligation to facilitate this right and ensure people are able to express their grievances safely and without fear of reprisals.”

Earlier, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been indicted in the Toshakhana case by the accountability court. The PTI Chairman, however, refuted the accusations and sought that the case be transferred to a different court, showing skepticism over the judge.

Imran Khan has been brought before an accountability court in Islamabad. He was charged in the Toshakhana case, which was heard at Sessions Court by Judge Humayun Dilawar.

The court rejected Imran Khan’s attorney’s bid to have the indictment delayed.

Imran Khan declined to acknowledge the accusation. He sought that the case be moved to a different court because he stated he didn’t trust the judge.
