According to the alert, several districts including Chitral, Swat, Lower Dir, Shangla, Mansehra and Kohistan may experience intense rainfall along with the risk of landslides.
The PDMA warned that parts of Malakand and Hazara divisions could face flash floods, while urban flooding is likely in Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi and Abbottabad.
The authority has directed all relevant departments and emergency response institutions to complete precautionary measures in advance to deal with any possible situation.
Officials have been advised to remain alert and ensure timely action to minimise risks to lives and property during the expected weather conditions.
