Sher Afzal Marwat: Imran scolds me about Saudi statement

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat disclosed on Thursday that he had been reprimanded by Imran Khan for his remarks regarding Saudi Arabia. Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Sher Afzal shared that Latif Khosa had proposed Hamid Khan as a member of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), noting that as a senator, Hamid could not serve as the PAC chairman. Moreover, he stated that there is no breakaway faction within the PTI.

Additionally, Sher Afzal mentioned that the PTI founder had unequivocally affirmed that there was no negotiation or agreement, asserting the importance of the nation soaring to new heights.

Further, the PTI leader highlighted instances of violence against their mandate occurring on February 8 and April 21. Responding to a query, Sher revealed that his comments on Saudi Arabia had sparked criticism from Imran Khan.

It is worth mentioning that Sher Afzal Marwat had earlier suggested the involvement of Saudi Arabia in a purported regime change operation, carried out in collaboration with the United States. Subsequently, following PTI’s disavowal, Sher Afzal issued a clarification regarding his statement.
