Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Shireen Mazari, Malika Bukhari, Ali Muhammad Khan and Senator Falak Naz have been arrested again by the police.
Punjab Police has re-arrested Shireen Mazari, who was released from jail hours earlier. The Islamabad Police assisted the Punjab Police in the arrest.
Shireen Mazari’s daughter Imaan Mazari shared on twitter that the police has again taken her into custody again.
Minutes ago, she had stated in another tweet that the police had again reached outside her residence to arrest Shireen Mazari.
Earlier, a local court in Islamabad discharged Shireen Mazari and Falak Naz from the case. Both PTI leaders were produced before the judicial magistrate’s court in Islamabad.
The judicial magistrate Shabbir Bhatti rejected the police’s request for a three-day physical remand of the PTI leaders and discharged the two leaders from the case. The court also ordered to submit details of the cases registered against Shireen Mazari and Senator Falak Naz. The court said that there was no need for further investigation of Falak Naz and Shireen Mazari.
On this occasion, Shireen Mazari said that after her release earlier, she was arrested again from the second gate of Adiala Jail, kept in diplomatic enclave and secretariat police station.
Malika Bukhari arrested again
PTI leader Malika Bukhari was released but she was arrested again from outside Adiala jail soon after. Malika was arrested by the Islamabad Police and taken to an undisclosed location.
PTI leader Farrukh Habib shared the video of her re-arrest.
Ali Muhammad Khan arrested again
Similarly, another PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan, who was released from Jhelum jail was also arrested by the Punjab police from outside jail. The PTI leader was taken into another police vehicle as soon as he came out of the jail’s gate.
A video of his arrest from outside the jail was shared on social media.
