Shoe theft scandal rocks Parliament house mosque

According to a report, around twelve individuals, including journalists, had their shoes stolen from the Parliament House mosque last Friday following Jumma prayers.

The worshippers were unable to locate their footwear after the prayers, with sources indicating that the security personnel assigned to the mosque were absent during the incident.

Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the culprit responsible for the theft.

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has taken note of the situation and has instructed an investigation into the lapse in security measures by the mosque’s security officials.

The investigation will be carried out by the Joint Secretary for Admin and the Sergeant at Arms.
