Soldier martyred in attack on check post along Pak-Iran border

A soldier of the Pakistan Army was martyred in an attack by terrorists on a check post along the Pakistan-Iran border.

According to details, a group of terrorists attacked a check post of security forces in the Abdoi Sector along the Pakistan-Iran border.

In the exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists, Lance Naik Zaheer Ahmed, resident of Nuskhi, was martyred.

Heavy losses were inflicted on the terrorists who fled following the attack.

A statement by the military’s media wing following the attack said that Pakistan’s security forces were determined to defeat such ‘inimical elements’ aimed at disrupting the peace and stability in Balochistan.

On November 22, a soldier of the Pakistan Army was martyred after a patrolling party was targeted by a group of terrorists in the Panjgur area of Balochistan near the border with Iran.
