According to police sources, the incident occurred near Diplo Tehsil, where the victim was reportedly taken into custody over allegations of stealing goats. The victim’s family claims that he was brutally assaulted while in police custody, resulting in fatal injuries.

An FIR has been registered at Diplo Police Station under murder charges against three police personnel. The complaint alleges that the accused officials physically tortured the young man during interrogation, leading to his death.

Following the registration of the case, the victim’s family collected the body after completing the necessary legal formalities and transported it to their native village for burial. The incident has sparked anger among local residents, who have demanded strict action against those responsible.
