A woman was among two people injured when an explosive device went off outside a councillor’s house in the Kohati Gate area of the provincial capital on Monday.
Police said the blast damaged the gate of the house and shattered windows of nearby houses.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where their condition was stated to be out of danger. According to police, 0.45 kilogram of explosives was used in the blast.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has sought a report from the police.
