Two militants killed in Balochistan operation

QUETTA: Security forces killed two suspected militants during an intelligence-based operation in the Washuk district of Balochistan as part of ongoing efforts to eliminate militants linked to Fitna al-Hindustan.

According to security sources, the operation took place in the Planatak area of Washuk after security personnel received intelligence about the presence of militants involved in terrorist activities.

During the operation, the forces engaged the suspects and killed both militants. Their vehicle was also destroyed during the action, while security personnel recovered weapons and ammunition from the site.

Security sources said the two militants had links to attacks on the Mashkhel Police Station and the Customs House. Investigators believe the recovered weapons and ammunition were intended for further terrorist activities, including targeted attacks against civilians in Balochistan.

The operation forms part of broader security efforts aimed at dismantling militant networks operating in the province and preventing attacks on security personnel and local communities.

Security sources said forces will continue intelligence-based operations against militant groups until their networks are completely dismantled and the threat to the people of Balochistan is eliminated.
