The operation was carried out between Jhao Cross and Kararo after receiving intelligence reports about the presence of militants in the area.

According to security sources, several other militants were injured during the operation.

The sources said 11 security personnel were martyred while fighting the militants during the action.

Officials said the killed militants were involved in criminal activities, including collecting extortion money from passengers and local residents.

Security forces launched the operation to eliminate threats and restore peace along the important highway route.

Security officials reaffirmed that the protection of citizens, travellers and key routes remains a top priority.

They said strict action will continue against elements attempting to disturb peace and stability in Balochistan.

The security forces vowed that every attempt to challenge the region’s security and peace would be responded to with full force.
