Five terrorists were killed and several others were injured during security forces’ operations in Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, according to security sources.
The sources said security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Killi Soran, Panjgur.
The terrorists were reportedly travelling on motorcycles and were allegedly preparing to carry out a terrorist attack when security forces targeted them.
Modern technology and advanced weapons were used during the operation, according to security sources.
The operation was carried out against members of the banned group described by the sources as Fitna al-Hindustan.
Security sources said a large quantity of modern weapons and ammunition was recovered from the killed terrorists.
Three vehicles and two motorcycles were also recovered from the site.
An improvised explosive device (IED) and a flag belonging to the banned organisation were also seized.
According to security sources, the killed terrorists were allegedly involved in planning and carrying out several serious crimes.
These included robberies, kidnappings and targeted killings.
The sources also said the terrorists were involved in planning suicide attacks.
