5-Year-Old Aon Abbas Murder Case – Both Prime Suspects Killed in Police Encounter

In a major and decisive development in the inhumane case of kidnapping, sexual assault and murder of 5-year-old innocent Aon Abbas in Muridke, Tehsil Sheikhupura, both arrested prime accused Asif and Muneeb have been killed in a police encounter.

*Details of the Incident:*

According to police officials, a joint team of the Crime Control Department (CCD) Muridke and Muridke Police was taking the arrested accused Asif and Muneeb for the recovery of the weapon of offence and other important evidence.

When the team reached near Muridke area, unidentified armed accomplices of the accused, who were already lying in ambush, opened indiscriminate firing on the police team in an attempt to get their accomplices released from police custody.

The police retaliated immediately with strong counter-firing. During the intense exchange of fire, both under-custody accused Asif and Muneeb were hit by the firing of their own attackers and died on the spot.

After the firing, the attacking accused managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness of the night.

Following the incident, police took the bodies of both accused into custody and shifted them to *Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital, Muridke*, while a blockade has been set up and a search operation has been started in the area to arrest the absconding attackers.

*FIR and Background of the Case:*

This shocking incident took place in *Ratta Bhad*, a suburban area of Muridke Tehsil, Sheikhupura. According to the FIR:

– The victim, 5-year-old Aon Abbas, who was the only brother of five sisters, was kidnapped by the accused.
– After kidnapping, the innocent child was allegedly subjected to sexual assault.
– Later, the brutal killers mercilessly murdered the child and dumped his body in a sack in a nearby pond.
– According to sources, the accused had also allegedly demanded a *ransom of Rs 2 million* from the family.

There was an outcry in the area after the child’s body was found.

*Official Version of Police / CCD:*

CCD Muridke and Muridke Police officials said the accused were being taken for recovery of evidence on their identification when their accomplices attacked.

According to the police spokesperson, the accused were killed by the firing of their own accomplices. Police termed it as action in accordance with the law and said that the absconding accused will also be arrested soon. This is a major successful operation by CCD Muridke.

*Family’s Reaction:*

The grief-stricken poor parents and five sisters said that their only son/brother was brutally killed by beasts. They expressed satisfaction over the exemplary end of the accused and said they have got immediate justice. The family thanked the police and CCD Muridke.

*Public Reaction:*

As soon as the news of the accused being killed spread, a wave of relief spread among the citizens in Muridke. Citizens raised slogans of *”CCD Muridke Zindabad”* on the spot and said that such brutal beasts should meet this fate. The locals demanded that the absconding accomplices should also be brought to justice soon.
