Sheikhupura – Anti Corruption Establishment has Arrested Assistant Director Social Security Dr. Farooq red handed on taking bribe while Deputy Director Anwar ul Haq fled away from the site.
According to details the ACE team led by Judicial Magistrate Mehboob Elahi raided at the said office on the complaint of a one Ramzan a small trader who run his shoes business in village Chak Shahpur for registered his 5 workers at the said department, stated circle officer Rana Khawar Abbas ACE.
He said the complainant disclosed the team that the both officer already received Rs. 150000 as bribe for their workers registration and demanded more mony. While Dr. Farooq also demanded Rs 30000 more from the trader. On the day of incident he brought the matter into ACE officers.
They reached at the social security office and recovered marked currency Rs 10000 from the pocket of said corrupt officer. The ACE take 5 days judicial remand of said officer.
It is pertinent to mention here that the different departments including EOBI, Social Security, Excise, Labour Department and others collect Millions of rupees as bribe from the different industries in sheikhupura.
