Aina Asif opens up about her fear of growing up

Pakistani actress Aina Asif has opened up about an unexpected fear she carries as she continues to grow in both her personal and professional life.

The young actress has quickly become one of the most recognisable faces in Pakistan’s television industry. With several successful dramas to her name, Aina has built a strong fanbase through her natural acting skills, charming personality and ability to connect with viewers.

Sharing her own thoughts, Aina admitted that the idea of growing up makes her uncomfortable.

“Growing up sucks. I am really scared of growing up,” she said.

Aina explained that she often becomes worried when she listens to older people discussing their lives and responsibilities. According to the actress, adulthood appears intimidating because it comes with numerous responsibilities, pressures and problems.

She said that whenever she observes adults around her, she notices that they often have something to worry about. From responsibilities to personal problems, she feels that adulthood can become filled with tension and anxiety.

“I always see elders; they are in tension and anxiety, and they have something to stress about,” Aina shared.

The actress further explained that gaining awareness about the different challenges faced by adults has made her understand why growing up can seem frightening. As people become older, they encounter problems and responsibilities that younger individuals may not fully understand.

Aina also reflected on the difference between younger and older generations. She suggested that young people can sometimes appear more carefree, naive and demanding because they have not yet experienced the responsibilities that come with adulthood.

She believes that once people grow older, they become more aware of the complexities of life and the different issues they have to deal with.

“After awareness, we know elderly people have different spectrums of issues, which are difficult for us to comprehend,” she explained.

Aina’s candid comments offered fans a glimpse into her personal thoughts beyond her acting career. While she has already achieved considerable success at a young age, her remarks showed that she is also thinking about the responsibilities and challenges that come with growing older.
