Ali Rehman Khan recently discussed his role in the film “Daghabaaz Dil” in an interview.
Contrary to the title, his character is not deceitful but rather a selfless family-oriented individual. He emphasized his character’s strong bond with his grandmother and the importance of family unity.
While not revealing plot spoilers, he hinted at the film’s metaphorical deception. Ali expressed his excitement about working with Mehwish Hayat and praised the script’s intriguing twists. He highlighted his preference for morally complex characters over traditional flawless heroes in cinema.
Regarding a comparison to Ryan Gosling, Ali felt flattered but didn’t personally see the resemblance.
“I am getting this for the first time. No one has ever told me this before,” Ali said.
“It’s a big compliment to be compared to him, he’s a very big actor. Personally, I have never felt a resemblance…He is one of my favourite actors because I think that Ryan Gosling does serious roles with finesse but his comedic timing, too, is extraordinary. His film Bad Guys is one of my favourites. His performance in it is just amazing,” he continued.
He also shared insights about life in Karachi, emphasizing its bustling atmosphere and culinary delights.
Looking ahead, he expressed interest in collaborating with other talented actresses in Pakistani cinema like Mahira Khan and Sajal Ali.
