The veteran actor revealed that he has always wanted to learn music but never managed to formally pursue the skill. Bachchan said he greatly admires people who can sing beautifully or play musical instruments and has often wondered how they acquire such talent.

The revelation came during an upcoming episode of the 18th season of the popular television quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. During a conversation with content creator Kritagya, Bachchan took part in a “this or that” style question-and-answer game.

When asked whether he would prefer to relive a day from his past or experience a completely new day, the actor said it would be difficult to choose a single day because his life has been filled with numerous memorable experiences.

The conversation then turned toward his interest in music. Bachchan explained that he has a deep appreciation for people who are skilled at singing or playing instruments such as the sitar.

He revealed that he has kept several musical instruments at home with the hope that he would eventually learn how to play them. In a light-hearted comment the actor said he even puts garlands around the instruments while waiting for the day when he can finally begin learning music.

Despite his long and highly successful career in Indian cinema Bachchan admitted that the dream has remained incomplete.

Now 84, the actor said he still regrets not being able to learn music. Hearing people sing beautifully or play instruments reminds him of the skill he wished he had developed himself.

Bachchan’s candid revelation offered fans a more personal glimpse into the life of one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated stars. Despite achieving extraordinary success as an actor television host and public figure he continues to have personal ambitions that he hopes to fulfil.

His comments also highlighted that even after decades of professional achievements, the desire to learn something new can remain strong.
