Balochistan’s future is Pakistan’s future: CDF Asim Munir

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that Balochistan and Pakistan have a shared present and future. He said this relationship will remain strong and permanent. He stressed that the future of Balochistan is in the hands of its people.

Field Marshal Asim Munir made these remarks during a meeting with prominent personalities and political leaders from Balochistan. The meeting focused on the province’s security, development, political situation and future prospects.

The field marshal highlighted the potential of Balochistan’s youth. He said young people have the ability to play a major role in the province’s progress. He added that the youth are among the most active and hopeful sections of society.

He said greater opportunities should be created for young people in education, employment, business and other sectors. He stressed that their energy and talent can contribute significantly to Balochistan’s development.

Field Marshal Munir also spoke about security challenges facing the province. He said the state would respond firmly and decisively to attempts aimed at creating instability. He maintained that hostile designs would be defeated through a strong and determined response.

He also called for a comprehensive response to what he described as enemy propaganda. He said false narratives should be exposed with facts. He stressed that misleading information should not be allowed to create divisions between the people and the state.

The field marshal said Balochistan’s real potential must be highlighted. He said the province has significant opportunities for development and investment. Its natural resources, geographical importance and human potential can contribute to economic growth.

He further said peace and stability are essential for attracting investment to Balochistan. A secure environment, he added, can create new opportunities for businesses and investors. This can also help generate employment for local people.

Field Marshal Munir described the “Fitna al-Khawarij” and “Fitna al-Hind” as foreign-backed proxies being used to destabilise Balochistan. He alleged that these elements seek to create insecurity in the province.

He said such groups were also attempting to obstruct development. According to him, another objective was to create a gap between the state and the people of Balochistan.

The field marshal stressed that these challenges must be addressed through unity, development and stability. He said the province’s people should remain at the centre of efforts for its progress.
