During an appearance on The Moment with Jorge and Paola Ramos podcast, the Accountant 2 star described Lopez as one of the hardest-working people he has ever known. He highlighted her dedication to the entertainment industry and her ability to overcome challenges throughout her career.

Affleck also recognised the additional obstacles Lopez has faced as a Latina in Hollywood, noting that she has repeatedly challenged expectations and proved her critics wrong. He praised her as a pioneer who achieved success despite the barriers that once made her ambitions seem difficult to realise.

Expressing his respect for the singer and actress, Affleck acknowledged her extraordinary determination and unwavering confidence in her abilities. He also wished her continued success in her professional journey.

Affleck and Lopez first began dating in 2002 after meeting on the set of Gigli. The couple became engaged that year but called off their wedding before ending their relationship in 2004.

Nearly two decades later, the former couple rekindled their romance in 2021, capturing widespread public attention. They married in Las Vegas in July 2022 and later celebrated their union with a lavish ceremony at Affleck’s Georgia estate.

However, their reunion was short-lived. Lopez cited April 26, 2024, as their separation date before filing for divorce in August of the same year. Their marriage officially ended in early 2025.
