Brian Hickerson detained after bar incident following Panettiere

Brian Hickerson, the former boyfriend of late actress Hayden Panettiere, was reportedly detained by police following an alleged altercation at a bar in Greenville, South Carolina. What Happened at the Bar?

The incident reportedly took place on Saturday, September 12, at Wild Wing Cafe on Woodruff Road in Greenville. Police were called to the restaurant at approximately 9:10 p.m. after receiving reports of an altercation involving several people.

According to the Greenville Police Department, officers arrived at the scene and temporarily detained multiple individuals while they investigated what had happened. Among those detained were Brian Hickerson and his brother, Zach.

Authorities reportedly determined that Zach was heavily intoxicated during the incident. Police alleged that he was behaving disorderly and shouting profanities in public. As a result, Zach was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct before being taken to the Greenville County Detention Center.

He was later released on bond on Sunday afternoon.

Brian Hickerson, however, was released at the scene and was not charged in connection with the incident, according to police.

Panettiere’s brother, Zach, previously claimed that Hickerson attempted to help the actress before emergency responders arrived. According to Zach, Hickerson administered Narcan and attempted CPR.
