Pakistani security forces have arrested an alleged militant, Umar Din alias “Jazba,” who has made significant disclosures during his confessional statement.
According to Umar Din, he joined the outlawed group Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP) after a dispute and disagreement with his father. He said the decision was driven by personal conflict, after which he became associated with the militant organization.
The arrested suspect claimed that several senior commanders of the group operate alongside 60 to 70 Afghan fighters, many of whom reportedly received training in Afghanistan.
He further alleged that the network was involved in major attacks, including an assault on the Shadikhel base and a bomb blast on the Kota Khawar Road, in which seven police personnel were killed during the month of Ramadan.
Umar Din also stated that some members of the group are allegedly involved in drug addiction and immoral activities within their hideouts, adding that certain commanders also engage in such behavior.
He claimed that the organization receives financial support from commanders based in Afghanistan and is also involved in criminal activities such as extortion, vehicle snatching, and kidnapping for ransom.
According to his statement, militant commanders lure and mislead young individuals in the name of implementing Sharia and jihad.
In his final message, Umar Din urged young people not to fall for militant propaganda and to stay away from such groups, warning them against being misled by false narratives.
