Cars returns to theaters for 20th anniversary with exclusive Merchandise

Participating theater chains, including Regal, Cinemark and AMC, are expected to offer exclusive items beginning September 3. Among the collectibles are a detailed Lightning McQueen popcorn container and a gold Piston Cup drink cup, giving fans a way to take a piece of Radiator Springs home with them.

The anniversary campaign also introduces new promotional artwork celebrating McQueen and the film’s iconic setting. One of the fresh posters places the legendary red race car against a desert highway, capturing the sense of speed, adventure and open-road freedom that has remained central to the Cars franchise.
