Chief Justice of Pakistan’s Federal Constitutional Court, Justice Aminuddin Khan, represented the country at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum in Russia, where he highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening global judicial cooperation, constitutional governance, and international legal engagement.

During the forum, Justice Aminuddin Khan participated in discussions focused on enhancing cooperation among judicial institutions and promoting the exchange of legal expertise. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to the rule of law and its continued role in advancing international legal collaboration.

On the sidelines of the event, the Chief Justice held a meeting with Turkish Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunç to discuss expanding judicial cooperation, sharing legal expertise, and strengthening institutional ties between Pakistan and Türkiye.

He also met with Tajikistan’s Chief Justice Rustam Mirzozoda, where both sides agreed to deepen judicial relations and encourage greater collaboration in legal and constitutional matters.

In another key meeting, Justice Aminuddin Khan met Russian Senator Vladimir Chizhov, head of the Russia-Pakistan Friendship Group in the Federation Council. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, was also present during the discussions, which focused on constitutional law, judicial reforms, legal exchanges, and expanding cooperation between the two countries.

Throughout the forum, the Chief Justice also interacted with prominent international legal figures, exploring new opportunities for judicial cooperation and reinforcing Pakistan’s commitment to fostering stronger legal partnerships at the global level.
