On the latest episode of her podcast, “Your Mom’s House,” the 50-year-old comedian admitted the split has been extremely sad for her. She apologised to listeners for getting emotional so quickly into the conversation.

Pazsitzky explained that she and Segura had spent years trying to make the marriage work, mainly for the sake of their children and family. Despite their best efforts, she said, things simply could not be repaired.

She confirmed the two are no longer together as a couple. Both, she added, are trying to keep their two kids at the centre of everything as they move through the separation.

Reflecting on the relationship, Pazsitzky called their years together a genuine success story. She said they built a strong marriage, launched a shared business, pursued comedy careers side by side, and most importantly, raised a family.

She also addressed longtime fans directly, acknowledging how much history the couple has shared with their audience. From getting married while broke and living in Silver Lake, to weathering births, deaths, accidents, cancer and the pandemic, she said listeners have been part of it all. She reassured fans she is not going anywhere and promised the show would continue.

Despite the split, Pazsitzky insisted there’s no bitterness between her and Segura. She asked fans not to pick sides, describing their relationship as amicable rather than hostile.

She was firm that this is not a messy separation, stressing that the two remain on good terms despite the end of their marriage.

According to the Daily Mail, Pazsitzky and Segura ended their marriage in May after 18 years together.
