The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the results of the CSS 2026 written examination, with only 2.74% of candidates managing to qualify.
According to the FPSC, a total of 17,351 candidates appeared in the written examination, while only 476 candidates successfully passed.
Among the successful candidates, 239 are men and 237 are women, according to the commission.
The FPSC said the schedule for the medical examinations, psychological assessments and viva voce of the successful candidates will be announced soon.
The CSS examination is considered one of Pakistan’s most competitive examinations, with successful candidates proceeding through multiple stages before final allocation to the country’s civil services.
