Deputy Commissioner Sialkot, Ms. Saba Asghar Ali, paid a detailed visit to Government Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital (AIMTH)

SIALKOT: Deputy Commissioner Sialkot, Ms. Saba Asghar Ali, paid a detailed visit to Government Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital (AIMTH) to review healthcare services and assess the quality of facilities being provided to patients.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the Outpatient Department (OPD), Emergency Department, various wards, laboratory, and pharmacy. She also interacted with patients, inquired about their well-being, and reviewed the medical facilities and treatment services being provided at the hospital.

Ms. Saba Asghar Ali conducted a comprehensive assessment of cleanliness standards, availability of medicines, healthcare facilities, and the overall quality of patient care. She directed the concerned officials to ensure the provision of the best possible medical services and to address any shortcomings on a priority basis.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that public hospitals play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare to citizens and stressed the need for maintaining high standards of hygiene, patient care, and service delivery.

Assistant Commissioner (HR) Ms. Ayusha Ammar and Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS) Dr. Anil Kumar were also present during the visit and briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the hospital’s operations and ongoing efforts to improve healthcare services.
