The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced on Friday that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Ahmed Junejo had won the NA-196 Shahdadkot seat in the recent by-elections.
The ECP also announced that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Falak Sher Awan was victorious in PP-22 Talagang.
In another announcement, Adnan Afzal Chattha from PP-36 Wazirabad received the ECP’s victory notification. The ECP confirmed that PML-N leader Ahmed Iqbal Chaudhry won the PP-54 Narowal seat.
Similarly, the ECP declared that Saeed Akbar Khan from PP-93 Bhakkar had won. PML-N’s Rana Afzal Hussain was announced as the winner for PP-139 Sheikhupura.
The electoral watchdog issued a notification confirming PML-N leader Muhammad Riaz’s win in PP-147 Lahore. Additionally, Shoaib Siddiqui from Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) was declared the winner for PP-149 Lahore.
The ECP also issued victory notifications for PML-N’s Chaudhry Muhammad Nawaz from PP-158 Lahore and Rashid Minhas from PP-164 Lahore.
For the PPP, Mumtaz Ali was declared the winner for PP-266 Rahim Yar Khan, and Ali Ahmed Khan Leghari from PP-290 Dera Ghazi Khan.
These announcements came after a series of by-polls held across various regions in Pakistan.
