The 19-year-old actress, who recently gained recognition for her role as Hannah Wells in the Amazon Prime Video series Off Campus, said she often experimented with cosmetics while growing up.

In a recent interview, Ella revealed that she used to quietly borrow her mother’s makeup, especially bright red lipstick, to create different looks before washing everything off.

She described those moments as some of her earliest beauty memories and said she enjoyed trying bold makeup styles simply for fun.

Ella said she was particularly fond of creating dramatic makeup looks just before washing her face, adding that experimenting with different colours and styles was one of her favourite childhood activities.

The actress also spoke about her friendship with Off Campus co-star Mika Abdalla, saying the two enjoy spending time together away from filming by having skincare sessions and relaxing.

Sharing another light-hearted moment, Ella joked that if she ever launched her own makeup product, she would name a blush shade “Bright” after her surname.
