In a statement issued on Sunday, Maryam Nawaz said a father serves as a protective shelter for his children, standing by them through life’s hardships and challenges. She emphasized that a devoted father not only teaches his children how to live but also instills the confidence to face the world with dignity and self-respect.

Reflecting on her own relationship with her father, Nawaz Sharif, she described him as her mentor, guide, teacher, and greatest source of strength. She said his support and wisdom have played a vital role in shaping her character and leadership journey.

Maryam Nawaz further remarked that a father is like a lamp whose light guides his children through the darkest moments of life.
