Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei has said Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir will visit Tehran tomorrow.
According to a statement issued by the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Baghaei said the visit is part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to promote peace and security in the region.
He said the visit aims to further strengthen relations between Iran and Pakistan. During his stay, Field Marshal Asim Munir is expected to meet with senior Iranian officials.
Baghaei also said Pakistan is playing a mediating role in efforts to end the ongoing conflict between Iran and the United States.

Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that Iran’s enemies had sought to turn the country into another Venezuela, but their plan had failed.
